Linda's Seafood Market
About This Spot
Linda’s Seafood Market is the kind of place that welcomes you with an unassuming charm — tucked away on Wheaton Street, it feels like a well-kept secret known mostly to locals and those who appreciate seafood done right. There’s a gentle, comforting rhythm here: a steady flow of familiar faces grabbing takeout, the friendly exchange at the counter, and the quiet confidence that fresh catches deserve little fuss and plenty of respect.
The atmosphere is relaxed and easygoing, with a sense that this isn’t just about food, but about a shared experience rooted in tradition and genuine care. At Linda’s, the focus is on simple, honest flavors and generous portions that invite you to slow down and savor each bite. Your order might come with a dab of garlic butter or a splash of hot sauce, small touches that transform a meal into something deeply satisfying and soulful.
Arriving here, you won’t be distracted by fancy décor or flashy presentations. Instead, the true draw lies in the hands behind the counter and the evidence of their craft in every crab leg or fried oyster. There is warmth in the ease of the service — quick, attentive, and familiar — making you feel part of a quiet community that values food as a way to connect.
Whether you’re stopping by to pick up a low country boil or indulging in fried catfish that tastes like a cherished family recipe, Linda’s offers a comforting reminder of why simple, well-prepared seafood continues to weave itself into Savannah’s everyday life.

Holy Crab! The best seafood we’ve ever had! Linda’s has incredible fresh seafood! We stopped in twice on our short vacation to Savannah! Don’t judge a book by its cover, this low key takeout seafood spot was the best seafood we had in town and that we’ve ever eaten! We tried the low country boil, fried catfish, snow crab, and crawfish! All of these items were delicious and above expectations for taste and value! Our tip is ask for double the seasoning and don’t skimp on the homemade hot sauce! Linda’s is not only a great place for travelers wanting seafood on a budget, but they have the best quality and quantity for your tastebuds!

We will always Linda's, got some of that good Ole conch and hot sauce plus garlic butter to blend with my seafood boil. I made it..

Service was friendly and fast — no wait time at all, which was a plus. The atmosphere was decent, and the food was delicious, especially the garlic crabs. I also tried the shrimp special with corn, potatoes, and boiled eggs — everything was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. The snow crab low country boil is another favorite; portions are generous and definitely worth the price.

Always good food when I come here. Only place I know that fry seafood and it's always fresh. My favorite is the oysters.

I don't eat sea food much anymore but my family sure does. One of my rules is if I see bullet proof windows or "we accept EBT" on the building I know the food is about to be pure fire. My family loves this food and so far this spot is their favorite. Employees are nice, portions are generous.

Absolutely phenomenal! Best boils around, especially for the price. We love hitting this place up on the way to the islands and taking it with us for lunch. 1/3 the cost of Tybee prices and WAY better!
